However, currently the market price has exceeded this figure.<\/p>\n<p>Another trader, Mrs. Rochman, also said that there was an increase in the price of premium rice. past the highest retail price set.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPremium rice has risen. Already there are those who are above the HET of Rp. 12,800. Now, there are already more than Rp. 13,000 per kg,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the rice price is increase, he admitted that many consumers complained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany complained, many returned. We are confused about selling it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Rachman said that the price increase was due to a bad harvest, so the supply would decrease. This is also a factor in the increase in premium rice prices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not there anymore (supply), yesterday it was hit by pests, failed (harvest), the results are a little so now it\u2019s gone. Later in three months just harvest again,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Yaya also estimates that the price of rice will gradually recover if the harvest in March is good.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the harvest around the beginning of March. If the weather is good, the price will automatically drop, a lot of rice coming in will definitely decrease but gradually,\u201d he added.
