Rice producer issuer HOKI is currently busy attracting new distributors, including collaborating with the Salim Group entity.<\/p>

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA \u2014 PT Buyung Poetra Sembada Tbk. (HOKI) is aggressively recruiting new distributors to market its products, including collaborating with the Salim Group entity.<\/p>

HOKI\u2019s growth is in line with the rice market in 2025 which is expected to receive a positive injection from a number of government food policies. HOKI Director, Budiman Susilo said that the company is currently actively strengthening and expanding its rice distribution network throughout Indonesia along with the increasing supply of white rice on the market. Entering early 2025, the rice producer issuer is also actively appointing new distributors, one of which is the Salim Group entity, Indomarco. Through cooperation with Indomarco, HOKI can distribute rice products to 600,000 active Indomarco outlets.<\/p>

\u201cWe have appointed Indomarco as the distributor of HOKI products nationally. We hope that cooperation with Indomarco can increase the company\u2019s sales growth,\u201d Budiman said in a written statement on Tuesday (7\/1\/2025). The distribution of HOKI products through Indomarco\u2019s distribution network will later cover modern markets, minimarkets, traditional shops and other channels such as food service.<\/p>

\u201cWe also continue to strive to appoint new business partners in the future,\u201d said Budiman. HOKI\u2019s efforts to attract new distributors are carried out in line with the fresh air for rice issuers. As is known, the government under the control of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is indeed struggling to encourage food self-sufficiency. Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) said the government is working hard to meet domestic rice needs so that Indonesia does not import rice in 2025. He explained that a number of food commodities will not be imported by Indonesia in 2025, including rice, corn for animal feed, salt, and consumer sugar. Zulhas said that this had been decided in a commodity balance meeting for 2025. In addition, the government is also planning to again distribute 10 kilograms (kg) of rice food aid to 16 million food aid recipients (BPP) during the January-February 2025 period.<\/p>
