Responsibilities to Consumers
We see our customers as the key stakeholders for our business sustainability. Each customer has a strategic value for the Company, therefore we ensure that the quality of products and services is delivered consistently and without discrimination, other than from the marketing methods that are adjusted to reach various customer segments with different business preference.
Safe Product and Service for Customers
We strive to make Company products with significant positive impact to consumers’ quality of life. One of the positive impacts that we expect is the better consumers health through quality rice products and non-rice product variety.
In the efforts, we use the best raw material quality with nationally and internationally standardized processes. We also do steps to guarantee quality in every product batch before being distributed to the consumers. This year we conducted an audit for ISO 9001:2015 on quality management to ensure that our process is still inline with international standard.
The Company products are registered in National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) and hold halal certificate. To maintain the license and certification, we are periodically evaluated by external and independent parties to ensure our product quality. This year there was no product recall for any reason.
The Company also conducts product innovations to improve the product benefits, both for consumer health and for more environmentally-friendly processes.
This year, we launched Brown Rice product as a new variant in DailyMeal Rice, beside Corn Rice and Cassava Rice that have been introduced earlier. These products improve the Company’s profit generation as well as for health as recommended by the health workers to consumer a more variant diet.
Meanwhile on the environmental issues, we use rice husks which are our byproduct as environmentally friendly fuel. The initiative makes us closer to be a zero-waste company, although not 100% due to capacity constraint of the power plant. Beside that, the byproduct has been sold as animal feed. Responsibilities To Surrounding Communities
The Company understands the impact of our operation to the community, both in positive terms and negative ones. In the positive sides, we improve the rice commodity values produced by the surrounding rice producers. It is done through continuous assistance to obtain quality rice as well as fair and equal rice procurement. Beside that, we open up work and business opportunities to competent individuals around us, whether it is directly as our employees and indirectly as supporting elements in the Company’s operation.
Meanwhile, our operation is potentially having negative impacts, especially in noise and air disturbances aspect felt by the surrounding people.
Budget for Social Responsibility Activities
The Company has spent Rp90.25 million in 2024, increased from last year’s Rp84.25 million, for social responsibility activities.
Social Activities by the Company in 2024
In 2024, the Company gave donation to the surrounding communities according to the identified needs that had been communicated to the Company, including in Eid Al-Adha. Benefit recipients of the Company’s activities were at least 100 people.
